Opening your Heart
Published in Sedona Journal May 2017
The vision that is presented for all of us is a pathway that leads to a garden, a white trellis covered in pale pink roses; we walk through the garden gate, and continue down a path of white smooth stones. As we walk we are encouraged to feel our worldly concerns melt away, we continue down the pathway and notice a gazebo overlooking a still pond with swans swimming gracefully upon the water. We are invited to enter the gazebo and are greeted by Quan Yin; she motions for us to sit with her awhile. There is a beautiful tea service and we are invited to share a cup of refreshment. It is a delight to sit with this Master of compassion and mercy feel her love and light flow over our whole being.
Quan Yin Speaks:
Children of the sun it is so good to be with you this day, please come and sit with me awhile and let me pour you a cup of kindness, I ask you to open your heart to the mercy and compassion that flows in your heart chakra.
It is to your hearts that I wish to speak today; I ask each of you to find the place in your hearts where the fountain of kindness, compassion, and unconditional love resides. I then invite you to open the portal to your heart and allow the unconditional love to flow through your whole body, and then with your intention direct that flow unto your family, community, and to the world.
It is from the heart that the changes you desire will flow from. I encourage you to let this love pour into the world. It is imperative that each of you find that place in your heart so that as your heart opens and expands it joins the collective. It is the power and strength from the collective consciousness expanding into the world that will create change and will be unstoppable.
The heart is pure and knows no malice, hate or greed. One of the functions of the heart in your bodies as you know is to pump the blood to your organs, muscles, and to feed your body so that your body can be a home for your infinite Spirit.
The anger, frustration and fear you may feel, and observe in others always will always come from the mind, not the heart.
Quan Yin pauses here and asks us to observe the beautiful swans as they swim upon the calm pool of water that the gazebo overlooks. The swans are graceful and elegant as they swim upon the clean clear waters, their necks fluid and graceful as they feed on the vegetation.
I bring your attention to the swan as she swims upon the waters and I ask you to notice her long elegant neck as it reaches to the sky and dips into the water to feed with her soft mouth upon the vegetation. The swan begins as a plain bird and transforms into a beautiful bird full of grace. All of you are going through a transformation and I bring to you the swan as an example in nature to observe and embrace. The swan reaches to the heavens but then dips her elegant neck into the depths of the water to find nourishment, and in so doing is an example of being a conduit between heaven and earth.
I am asking you to allow your throat chakra to expand as you support your heart, clear your head of mind jumble. Allow the heart to inform you and take time to clear the frustration and fear that collects in your head. For each of you are a pillar of light and a conduit for the heaven and earth to be made manifest upon the earth. Each of you makes a difference for the collective consciousness. So it is imperative that you notice the words you speak, and the judgements you embrace.
The Heart will listen:
The vision of the pink rose upon the garden trellis is intentional; imagine a pale pink rose bud veiled in your heart, hold the palm of your hand over your heart and breathe. With your intention call to your infinite spirit through your breath and with each breath allow the rose bud to expand and flourish. Breathe out the frustration fear, and worry of the mind and expand you heart to open wide.
Notice that as the rose bud opens it comes into full bloom a beautiful rose allowed to come into fruition. Then allow your heart to soften, and you will feel warmth extend to your throat chakra and this will allow the mind to relax, breathe deeply as you clear your thoughts.
Like the swan your neck can be the bridge between the head and the heart allowing for flow to extend from the heart to the head, and creating a beautiful gateway between your thinking mind and your beating heart.
Quan Yin offers you this prayer:
Allow me to open the door to my heart to expand my consciousness to the magnificence of my being.
Calling to the highest light, highest love and highest truth to support me this day
With gratitude and humility I accept the support
I now offer this love to the collective
You are what you think you are and so to support the mind to come into harmony with the heart I ask you to remind yourself daily these affirmations.
I (your name) Love myself
I (your name) Trust myself
I (your name) Trust myself
These affirmations will support your mind and this will flow down your throat chakra to your heart and create fluidly that will flow in your whole body feeding your physical body of blood, bones, muscles and your spirit body, and your mind, creating a strong bond between the body, mind and spirit.
Children of the light it is always a delight to speak with you go in peace and know you are loved.
